Will Power Supplies ever be made again?

I get asked often if commodore4ever will ever make power supplies again. Power supplies were really what started everything that became commodore4ever. I saw a huge demand and need for mass produced quality power supplies and there were no options at that time that could fulfill the need. Of course there were options that can get you a power supply like Ray Carlsen and a couple of other guys on Facebook, but there was no one making them available in large numbers. I decided to try and fill that need. Commodore4ever started off small, producing batches of 30-50. These were painstakingly produced designs. Lots of wires to solder, modifying stock metal cases, and many other very slow to put together pieces. This made it very difficult to produce anything in meaningful numbers. I redesigned a few times and came up with the above pictured 3 options. They were based on a pcb design with components that were much faster and more simple to assemble thus lessening production time. These were very successful with sales world wide. Then of course I began to have some health issues and then family issues that lead to commodore4ever shutting down.

Now that I'm back, many are asking will the power supplies come back too. Simple answer is, I am unsure. In the past couple of years prices on all the parts I use for the power supplies have nearly double! Shipping these parts, most of which come from overseas, has nearly doubled also. Add to that the tariffs that are now in place and it makes it very difficult to produce an affordable product. The only way to reduce the costs some is to order in large quantities. Which means literally me having to shell out thousands of dollars up front, we are only talking a small reduction in costs ordering this way, with no sure way of knowing if a market for these power supplies at the price I would have to sell them for even exists anymore. Currently there are several overseas products for cheap options so I am really unsure if enough people will choose mine or go with the cheap ones. In this economy I'm betting on the cheap ones.

I may do a small batch just to test the waters of 20 or so. Any feedback you guys have that will help me out? Please comment and let me hear from you.
